Share Secured Loans

Share secured loans offer a way to borrow money at a reduced interest rate. The loan is collateralized by the share in your 1st MidAmerica savings account or share certificate.

Dividends continue to be earned on the account or certificate even though the shares are pledged for the loan. The credit union also offers temporary credit disability insurance and credit life insurance at a nominal cost.
